20th January 2025: "The Team at Martell’s were just brilliant from the first call to the last plant pot unpacked. We were having trouble with the firm we’d been recommended locally and the martells brochure came through the door, so gave them a try. Really polite and the video call made the quote really accurate. They were flexible on dates and turned up on time and full of enthusiasm, even in the freezing cold. Little extra bits were no trouble. The team were polite, careful and I’d recommend them in a heartbeat. The price was competitive too. Huge thanks, Charlie." - C.G.

8th December 2024: "The removal team had a long journey from Sussex to my house but started loading the lorry immediately after they arrived and did so with great care and attention. Unloading the lorry was done with the same care with the crew asking where boxes and belongings should be placed if they were unsure. No items were damaged and the crew were polite and professional throughout the move. I would use Martells again without hesitation and would recommend them to anyone considering moving house." - G.D.

5th November 2024: "Martells provided an excellent service from start to finish. Edward visited us prior to the move and he was very friendly and professional. He was very informative about everything regarding each stage of our move. We had three removal men over a period of two days when we moved. Mark, Connor and Terry. Again very friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. They made the whole experience so much easier. Many thanks to you guys for working so hard and also giving Reuben our dog so much fuss, he loved it! 22nd October 2024: "This was the least stressful of our 3 moves. The office were helpful and the ladies gave me tips on how to best pack items. They were generous with the boxes and tape, so we didn’t feel pressured to pack things in. On the day they were punctual and polite, asking before moving things and checking what was staying with the house. When we moved to our new property on a busy high street they asked they communicated politely with the neighbours and helped people cross the road when it got tricky. There was a change of dates meaning we had to move whilst on holiday and get our friend to oversee things. 1st October 2024: "This was all done so professionally and in a kind caring manner. Everything was packed so well and when everything was delivered to my new property over 2 weeks later it was marked on the box as to what was inside and put in the rooms I wanted. From the moment I called the office speaking to carole and changing my dates quite a few times I was well looked after and reassured at all times. 17th July 2024: "It’s the 1st time I’ve used removals to move as normally I’ve done it myself. However I will always use removals from now on. The admin team were patient as my move date changed twice, speedy in their response, reasonable in price and great value for money. The 2 guys that moved everything put things exactly where asked, offered to help with things like putting bed together, really polite quick and efficient. Nothing seemed to much of a problem. They did the whole process in a few hours. Highly recommend Martells to anyone wishing to move" - N.B.

They are very flexible in accommodating changes to removal dates and the place we were moving to, allowing us a reduction in fee when this changed to somewhere nearer than we had expected. Packing, loading and unloading were all fast and efficient. Staff are very friendly and took away a lot of the pain and anxiety of a move. We will use them again." - S.B.

12th Apr 2024: "From the punctual arrival on day one it was a real pleasure to work with the guys from Martells. It was a difficult location at both ends of the move which was handled really well without any issues over the 2 day removal. Transhipping was required at both ends and this was handled with no issues, in conclusion I would highly recommend Martells for a stress free removals experience." - R.R.

17th Nov 2023: "A staggered move in and out was handled professionally, as ever, by Martells, both over the phone and on the two days it involved. This is the second time I have used Martells to move house. Both times were made as easy for me as could be at such a stressful time. Beds were assembled for me at my new home and a freezer moved twice. Both pairs of men were helpful ( move out and move in men were different). Concern raised by the team when something was left at my daughters instead of my home. I was reassured the problem would be resolved, and it was. Thank you so much Martells…..a stressful time for me made easier." - H.L.

28th Oct 2023: "We chose Martell's based on availability and price after comparing prices with two other competitors. Their representative expressed a can-do attitude and his previous driving/packing experience and knowledge helped our decision. We lived on an unmade road with access too narrow for the largest van so a shuttle with a smaller van was offered. The representative offered packing over two days prior to loading on moving day. In fact a third packing day was eventually included due to the volume of goods in the house, loft, garden and sheds. The move from East Surrey to mid-Dorset went according to plan with the larger van arriving mid-afternoon. The second van arrived mid morning of the second day in Dorset. All contents were successfully moved into the house, garages, and shed by lunchtime of the final day." - C.R.

7th Oct 2023: "We moved 2 weeks ago and are very happy with the service provided by the team. The lorry arrived on time and the guys loaded our boxes and furniture very speedily. They were able to manoeuvre the really heavy items from tricky spaces with no trouble. When they arrived at the new house, the unloading was just as swift and they positioned the furniture in the correct rooms and boxes wherever we asked. Nothing got broken or damaged. Prior to the move, we were given ample boxes and wrapping paper with the option to ask for more if necessary. The guys were very courteous and respectful of our possessions. Having previously used a van and ourselves for move, we’re pleased we didn’t on this occasion. So much less stressful. We would definitely recommend." - P.R.

"Ours was a difficult move. Martell's sent Ed to our house who gave a clear explanation as to what would happen. We then waited 7 months before we finally moved. There were many false starts. We dealt with Carole in the office who was very understanding and put our minds at rest as we had to cancel several times. We had been supplied with ample boxes and did our own packing. On the day of the move two large trucks arrived on time. All the moving staff were cheerful and polite. It was unbelievable how efficiently and quickly they emptied our house. The whole process took less than three hours. We then had several hours of delays. This resulted in an additional charge as we didn't 'complete' until after 4pm. Once we were ready the lads wasted no time in getting everything into our new address. We had no breakages. We could not have been happier with the service we received. From Ed's visit, Carole in the office and the removal men on the day. A stressful day was made easier with professional service provided. We would not hesitate in recommending this company when moving house." - J.H.
